1) BLUE MOON BURGER BASH in nyc

This one is for our foodies. If you’re like me and love a great burger, then maybe you should check out the Blue Moon Burger Bash in NYC. Some of the best chefs in the country whip up their favorite traditional and non-conventional burgers, accompanied by beer and live music!

October 16, 7 – 10 p.m., tickets here.

2) The a3c Festival & Conference in Atlanta, GA

Hey music heads, I see you! The Atlanta Music Festival brags an impressive lineup. With acts such as 2 Chainz, Curren$y & Jet Life, Wiz Khalifa , De La Soul, Rakim and more, there’s a little something for everyone. Because the festival is also a conference, speakers such as Karen Civil and Marc Lamont Hill will be making appearances. The conclusion of the festival always ends with the “Best Block Party Ever.”

October 7-11, tickets here.

3) Scarowinds Halloween Haunt in charlotte, nc

Every year, Carowinds (a theme park) converts itself into a haunted “scream park.” The park features five live shows, seven terrifying mazes and over 450 monsters prowling the midways. This year the park is boasting that it will be bigger, better and scarier than ever. So if the midterm stress is getting to you, if you’re just so over your boss, if it’s your birthday (Happy Birthday Libras and Scorpios!) or if you just want to have some fun, then I personally recommend checking out SCarowinds!

*sidenote: Leave the kids at home — this event is PG-13 and up

September 18- October 31, tickets here.

4) your State’s fair

Fall means one thing to a lot of us — fair food! Although the state fair dates vary from state to state, a simple Google search should be able to tell you when yours is coming to town. So grab some friends or maybe go with a date (#ShootYourShot2k15). The fair is always home to food and fun, but, there are also loads of vendors and mini-festivals within the compound. So ride some rides, definitely get some of that fair food (donut burger, anyone?) and don’t forget to check out some of the exhibits too.
