On the low, Kevin Hart’s alter ago Chocolate Droppa is an OG in the game. Have we forgotten that Hart was an XXL Freshman in 2011? What about the Real Husbands of Hollywood cypher he did on BET in 2013? It’s clear Chocolate Droppa has bars, and today I have a track marking his return to the rap game.
Rumors of a full-length project from Hart have been circling around since last month. Hart put those rumors to rest announcing that his mixtape WHAT NOW will drop next week on the 30th. To promote the tape, we got the first single “Baller Alert.” Before you question Hart’s talent in the game, for “Baller Alert,” he was able to pull T.I. and Migos AND do this over a Metro Boomin beat. This track is a revamp from the song originally done on T.I and Hustle Gang’s mixtape Hustle Gang Over Errrrythang. “Baller Alert” bumps in the whip, so if you’re trying to turn up on a Tuesday, let Kevin Hart take care of you. Hart’s tape WHAT NOW releases September 30th in conjunction with his new stand-up movie that goes by the same name.
