After spending $140 million on a movie that depicts Egyptians as caucasians, Lionsgate is taking a major L this weekend for their film “Gods of Egypt.” Their big budget debut returned just $14 million on their investment and if you do the math, you’ll see that lies never pay off.
Naturally, Twitter celebrated a victory for the ancestors, who prevailed in this undeniable attempt to slight history.
