That decision you’ve been contemplating for weeks…that question you’ve been tossing around and around in your head…what if you already know the answer?

The truth is that you probably do. The answer is always there, steering, directing, inconspicuous but clearly perceptible just below the surface. It’s the visceral sensation that involuntarily causes your eye to squint, your lips to purse, and your head to tilt slightly right, as if to ask, “Is it true?” The answer is yes. Always yes. Yes, even if it disappoints. Yes, in spite of the impact to your plan. Yes, regardless of consequence, and after consulting the squad and searching for evidence to sway what you know to be true, the answer is still yes.

The truth always rests within. It’s discourteous to plans made without its consent and utterly disrespectful to feelings invested in fantasy. Constantly working, nudging and drawing you into its tempo, it quickens the heartbeat to alert you when something is off, imploring attention be paid to the change of rhythm. It speaks with confidence and candor in the waking of day when you’re least prepared to combat it. It tells when to stay and when to leave, when to push forward and when to fall back. It separates calculated schemes from honest intentions and divides meaningful opportunity from useless distraction.

It’s in the magnetic pull that puts geese in formation and lures them south for the winter. Unencumbered by reasoning, nature leans solely on its primal direction to necessitate survival. The truth isn’t complicated, it’s just waiting on your permission to plot the customized plan for your life. So, if you’re wondering what to do next…trust your gut instinct. It knows.
